- I'm a 26-year-old transplant to Chicago. I've been working at Breakthrough Urban Ministries on the Westside for the past 4 yrs. My role has changed a bit in that time,and I currently work as the K-6th grade Academic Coordinator. I genuinely enjoy what I do and have come to love my "family" here. Essentially, I'm just a girl trying to learn how to live a life that's worth something, loving both God and people.

After seeing your blog, I decided to go to the Gardens! I LOVED IT! I went with a few people from school I put pictures up on my page too! Hope all is well.

Andrea, thank you for your comments on my page. I appreciate your input on the blog about feeling stuck. And I really appreciate your kind words on the post about my journal entries. I still have that candle (though it has been burned) you and ginger gave me a few years ago in MN. And when you wrote "you are beautiful" on my blog it reminded me of that because that is what you guys wrote on the glass container you gave me with the candle. Thank you so much.
We should get together soon for coffee or something!
